The Loire Fleet in the 18th century

After the success of the exhibition on the Loire Fleet in the 18th century during the Remontée du Sel event in 2005, the Val de Loire Mission, in association with Editions Loire et terroirs, is publishing an album containing all the displays from the exhibition.

This publication is the outcome of research and donations from both public and private sources in the Val de Loire. Much of it is devoted to visual representations and the work as a whole focuses on four main themes to give a wide-ranging picture of the subject:

- Commerce
- New needs, new perspectives
- How people lived
