Dominique Tremblay, Director of the
Val de Loire Mission since May 2002, will give a presentation on promoting and conserving the living cultural landscapes of the Val de Loire World Heritage site, and the initiatives in this area carried out by the Val de Loire and the local authorities associated with it.
An initial guide to the landscapes of the Loire was produced in 2005, paving the way for the Val de Loire landscape charter. This offers tools and methods aimed at private- and public-sector operators, helping them to take the landscape and heritage value of the Val de Loire into account in their development initiatives, whether these are in the areas of the economy, tourism or culture.
