The photo library of the Pays de la Loire Regional Inventory Department has been available online since September. Thanks to this tool, the iconographic collections (photographs, videos, surveys, infographics, etc.) of the General Cultural Heritage Inventory can be promoted and shared with everyone: the general public, professionals and students alike.
Via four sections, visitors have an opportunity to see some 60,000 images collected by the Inventory's regional teams since the 1960s.
With its interactive map and search tools, the photo library yields insight into the diversity of the region's heritage. It also has videos, surveys and infographics available.
Finally, in a participatory section everyone is encouraged to help identify photos (of a place, landscape or object for example) from the old collection.
