Mission Val de Loire has uploaded a summary of the workshops held at the Domaine Régional de Chaumont and Fontevraud Abbey on 12 and 14 June 2013. They were devoted to the question “What landscape do we want alongside the Loire in the future?”. A total of 150 participants attended to share their experiences of the new uses to which the Loire’s banks are being put and the account being taken of heritage and landscaping values in development of the banks.

The recap contains:

  • A summary of discussion engaged in during the workshops,
  • An initial analysis of development projects identified during the workshops, given greater depth through a survey conducted at local authorities.
