Plant life is a key historical, patrimonial, scientific, technical, economic and cultural component of Anjou as a whole, as well as being of importance to tourism. This work covers six centuries of the history of plant life in Anjou, from the days of Good King René to the creation of the Végépolys competitive cluster. The author, Jean-Luc Gaignard, is Director of Strategy at Terre des Sciences and a former Research Engineer at INRA.
The work is divided into 3 parts:
